Housing

To protect the circuit board from external influences, at least to some extent, we need a housing. The circuit board was originally developed for a housing from TRU COMPONENTS with the designation TC-7910744 (EAN: 4064161075587). To my knowledge, this housing is also available from various retailers. However, this housing must of course be modified to create openings for the cables, the rotary encoder and ventilation.

That is why I have developed a suitable housing that you can print yourself. It has all the necessary openings and strain reliefs for the cables. There is a window opening in the cover of the housing. This allows the display to be read and the LEDs to be monitored. A 2-3 mm thick acrylic/plexiglass pane can be glued into this window opening for better protection of the circuit board.

The STL files for printing yourself are available for download on RainCo.3's Github page.
